The future of technology

Want to read more about technology forecasts and predictions from leading experts? The Future of Technology: A World of Endless Possibilities.

It has much hope and enthusiasm in the future of technology. Breakthroughs in areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing and biotech will change fundamentally how we live and work together.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Artificial intelligence will keep growing and becoming a bigger part of our lives. Our lives will be run by artificial intelligence assistants who manage our calendars, homes and health in ways that are more efficient for us as consumers. The impact of this could be seen in the role played by AI-driven robots changing how manufacturing, healthcare and transportation operate.

_Quantum Computing_

Quantum computing will make the impossible possible. This technology will:

- Crack complex codes

- Simulate complex systems

- Optimize complex processes

_Biotechnology_

Medicine and Healthcare in the Era of Biotechnology Breakthroughs in gene editing, regenerative medicine and precision/personalized/ individualised diagnosis of disease will —

- Cure genetic diseases

* Grow organs for transplantation

Individualized treatment for specific needs

_Internet of Bodies (IoB)_

IoB will link our bodies to the internet, recording vital signs and performance statistics.

Virtual and Augmented Reality

The world of virtual and augmented reality will merge with the real world. We will dive in new worlds, play with virtual objects and change entertainment, education or communication for ever.

_Space Exploration_

In the short-term, space exploration will be more affordable and mean that instead of just two dozen people being able to experience Microgravity; hundreds if not thousands with fly into Space. Much of this work will be pioneered by private companies, creating lunar and Mars outposts that mine asteroids for resources and expand human occupation into the cosmos.

_Energy and Environment_

It is in the pain of habit being broken that new energy sources and technologies prioritize sustainability, over our carbon footprint. New advanced materials and technologies will

- Harness renewable energy

- Capture carbon emissions

- Clean pollution

The technology after us has a blank canvas to rewrite; the opportunities are limitless. But as we grasp both, our world and us will change, bettering the lives of everyone.

_Timeline:_

2025: Going Mainstream with AI assistants

2030s: quantum computing is used to tackle thorny problems

- 2035: Biotechnology will cure genetic diseases

2040: "IoB provides connection between human bodies and the internet"

2045 — the Virtual reality entertainment and education revolution

Web development tutorial

Web Development Tutorial Beginning Web Development Web development involves the development of websites and web applications. This includes web design, web programming, and database management. In this tutorial we will walk you through the basics of web development — front-end and back-end. 1. Understanding the Basics 1.1 Front-End Development, What is it? In web development, front-end development is the client side. It is all of the stuff that people actually see and use in their web browsers. CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) : It is used for styling the HTML elements like layout, colors, and fonts. JavaScript: A programming language that enables interactivity on web pages and the ability to update content dynamically, add animations, and more. 1.2 Back-end DeveloperWhat is a Back-end Developer?
